Play Conference - Creating Child Friendly Communities PDF Print E-mail

A regional conference on Friday 19th March 2010 (9.30am - 4pm)

Delegates from all over the East Midlands will gain a better understanding of children and young people's play and informal recreation and how they can work together to support more child friendly communities.

The conference is essential for professionals and community or voluntary sector workers who have a role in creating child-friendly play spaces and activities in their local communities.

The day's programme will include;

- Keynote speeches from Adrian Voce, director of Play England and Wendy Russell, Senior Lecturere in Play Work at Gloucester University;

- Workshops on a range of subjects;

- Site visits to some of the innovative play projects in Nottingham City
